In the beginning
In the beginning, we are told , is the bible. The book of God, written by Man, but inspired by God. This collection of books, written how many years after the fact. I was taught in "Sunday school" not to gossip. If you tell a person something, then they tell the same story to someone else, then after only a few "minutes" you have the last person tell the story out loud it is not even close to what was originally said. So after how many years..... can the story truly be what originally happened? Can a group of people write a book, with the wrath of God in the balance, that will shape the mind of so many uneducated people over years upon years? It has happened so many times over the years where a small group of people, using fear and hatred, control large groups of people who just want to live their lives in peace. You can even say it is still happening today. In our point in time, with all our advances in education and technology that groups of people still control the masses. The Taliban, Al'Qaeda, The Vatican, The Southern Baptist Convention, foreign governments, technological companies, our Government, even your local religious house of "worship". The list can go on and on. Places that are supposed to be our protectors and educators. Is this really what God intended? Not that we can change any of them, like a mold they will keep coming back. But we as "educated people need to think for ourselves, not let one book, or one group of people tell us how to live our lives..... just a few points to ponder on..... till I type again.

My first posting
This is my first post. What I will bring to this Blog is a new way to look at Organized Religion and life. It is time for educated people to start thinking for themselves instead of letting self-serving religions tell you how to have a relationship with your God. Religion as we know it was formed to control an uneducated population. Times have changed. You can think for yourself. Talk to me. tell me your views without the hate that popular religions are teaching.
